On August 8, 2017, CCRJ Senior Counsel, Anne McMichael, obtained a defense verdict for a local real estate company. The case involved claims by a Colorado resident alleging the real estate company represented by CCRJ violated multiple portions of the Colorado No-Call Act, the Colorado Consumer Protection Act and a federal statute regarding pre-recorded messages. After trial, the Court determined that Plaintiff failed to prove by a preponderance of the evidence that CCRJ’s clients engaged in the alleged telephone solicitation. The Court entered judgment in favor of CCRJ’s clients, as well as awarded costs to same.
