Biography
Ariana Busby is a litigation and regulatory partner at Coombe, Curry, Rich, and Jarvis. Ariana represents clients as an advisor and in litigation and regulatory matters involving professional liability, products liability, premises liability, construction defects, employment disputes (including EEOC investigations), government relations, and complex commercial matters. Ariana has extensive experience working with highly regulated industries, including businesses and professionals in healthcare, finance, transportation, liquor, and marijuana businesses.
Prior to entering private practice, Ariana worked in government for a decade, including serving as the Director of the Mental Health Boards with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies. She utilizes this experience to help clients navigate regulatory complaints, investigations, audits, and other compliance matters at the local, state, and federal levels.
Ariana has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2022 and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America since 2024. She regularly testifies before the state legislature on matters of interest to her clients and was featured in Law Week Colorado and Law360 for her work on legislation to restructure the judicial investigation and disciplinary process.
Ariana graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law as a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and with an Environmental & Natural Resources law certificate. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy and Government with a minor in Law Studies from the University of Colorado – Denver.
Ariana serves in leadership positions with the Colorado Bar Association and Colorado Women’s Bar Association. She is a member of the Colorado Defense Lawyer Association (CDLA), Colorado Counseling Association (CCA), Metro Denver Interdisciplinary Committee (MDIC), Colorado Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (COAFCC), and the Colorado Healthcare Associated Risk Managers Association (CHARM).
